Exporting and Importing Snippets

A helpful and underrated feature of the program is the ability to easily export any snippet that you have generated. This can be done from the individual snippet page, as well as the generator itself. Below is a video that demos exporting and importing a snippet to the popular plugin called Code Snippets.
The export will download a JSON file to your desktop. All you need to do is take this file and import it into one of the popular snippet management plugins (this JSON is a standard structure, so it supports several offerings). Officially, we’ve tested the output, and importing works on the following:
- Code Snippets
- Scripts Organizer
- Advanced Scripts
